The shepherd Endymion—a mortal with whom the goddess Diana (Selene) has fallen in love—is plunged into an eternal sleep, where she may gaze upon him.
Warm hues of passion and the fanciful dreams that fill our minds, as Endymion—at once immortalized and crushed—slips toward non-existence.
Or the exercise of painting
to revisit the history sometimes,
to dream, only for the dream
and for a world of intelligence and openness.
